The Nagaoka JT-80BK is a phono cartridge for a vinyl turntable.
A "diamond" to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Japanese brand. The "Jeweltone" series was created in 2020 for the Japanese brand's anniversary. The JT-80BK (Black) cartridge was initially offered exclusively on the 50th-anniversary Technics 1210 GAE turntable. It features an extremely lightweight and rigid boron cantilever, and the diamond is precision-cut in an elliptical profile. The frequency response and balance are remarkably straight. The tones are accurate and highly realistic, making it one of the best MM (Moving Magnet) cartridges.
