The J44A-7 Aurora Improved is the ideal cell for DJs looking to replace their venerable Shure M44-7 with a premium cell offering similar performance.

This JICO J44A-7 Aurora moving magnet cartridge, with its high output level enabling it to be used with the majority of phono preamps on the market, offers performance equivalent to the Shure M44-7 cartridges of the time, with powerful bass and a smooth, balanced sound. Its 1/2" mounting interface makes it a highly versatile cartridge, which can be fitted to most cartridge holders on the market.
The N44-7 Aurora stylus, with its Type S tubular aluminium cantilever precision-machined to match Shure cantilevers as closely as possible, combined with an integral (bare) diamond, offers excellent guidance in the vinyl groove and increased resistance to playback skips, while giving you the benefit of high-definition audio quality.
