The all-solid CORDOBA Luthier C10 Crossover SP offers a new spin on a Córdoba classic. Built with a solid European spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides, the C10 Crossover's main standout feature is its slim neck. A reduced 48mm nut width, 16" radius fingerboard, and thin-profiled C-shaped mahogany neck will feel familiar to steel string and electric players.

Like its sister model (C10), the C10 Crossover has traditional Spanish fan bracing and Spanish heel construction to allow for a responsive soundboard and full vibration throughout the entire body. The C10 Crossover has a two-way truss rod for long-term neck stability.

Delicate aesthetic touches like the 1920’s-inspired pearloid rosette adds a touch of vintage elegance. A lightweight polyfoam case makes this a Córdoba best-seller and a guitar you’ll want to play for a lifetime.

Après quelques jours de pratique, c'est la première fois que je joue sur une guitare avec des bois de cette qualité et la différence est majeure par rapport à mon ancienne guitare classique lag en cèdre. Le son est plus cristallin, moins noyé par les basses, et les harmoniques sont nombreuses, le sustain est également bien meilleur.

Le manche moderne avec sa largeur au sillet de 48mm et son radius, facilite la transition avec les autres guitares acoustiques et électriques. L'action est peut être un peu haute (3,1 mm sur la mi grave / 2,90 mm sur la mi aigu) mais je ne touche pas au sillet pour le moment. Il y a un truss rod si besoin.

Niveau finition je trouve la lutherie irréprochable, aucun défaut, les mécaniques sont précises et facilitent l'accordage. Hard case imperméable fourni, c'est toujours un plus.

Cette guitare a été choisie par David Gilmour pour quelques titres de son dernier album (Yes i have ghosts, The Piper's Call)
