This 4th generation STRANDBERG Boden Singularity NX7 7-String (BD7HCT-25SG-L-A-SBK) was created in an effort between .strandberg* Guitars and esteemed progressive player Per Nilsson to create a guitar that is more accessible than its predecessors while preserving the tone and feel that made them special. The solid Basswood body with Swamp Ash top, the slightly rounded Roasted Maple EndurNeck with Titanium reinforcements, and the sleek Ebonol fretboard gives a focused and clear tone with vigorous overtones and rigid stability needed to handle vibrant clean sounds as well as heavily saturated distortion with authority. The Swedish-made Lundgren Per Nilsson Anomaly signature pickups offer far greater tonal and dynamic diversity than most 7-string pickups by their use of responsive Alnico 5 magnets and a less powerful wind that allows the nuances of the player’s expression to come through unmasked and without excessive compression.

Ebonol is a high-pressure laminate synthetic material made from layers of black paper and phenolic resin. It is similar in appearance, hardness, and stability to Ebony.
