Developped around a "1960 Telecaster Base Model",FENDER Custom Shop 50s Twisted Tele Custom Journeyman Relic #R131746 (9235001506) solid body electric guitar features 2-pieces "sort for lightweight" Ash body, quarter-sawn AA Flame Maple neck and fretboard ('57 Soft V profile, narrow-tall frets, 9.5" radius), Custom Shop Hand-wound Twisted Tele pickups and traditional/vintage-style parts.

Twisted Tele pickups deliver a hotter and more powerful signal than standard Tele pickups but showcase a shimmer and sparkle that's reminiscent of a Stratocaster. Each pickup's sonic character has been tailored to its position for optimum sounds. The neck has a taller bobbin with more windings, so it has a tight and bright feel. The bridge pickup's shorter bobbin helps it deliver a dark and full midrange.
