Elegant Design

With its stylish and elegant design, the MAUI 28 G3 is highly attractive. The two aluminum column elements are positioned at the front of the subwoofer, enhancing the seamless visual impression. The columns are equipped with 12 midrange drivers of 3.5 inches and 2 tweeters of 1 inch, providing uniform sound distribution with a constant horizontal dispersion in combination with the innovative phase plug design. Additionally, the BEM-optimized waveguide in front of the tweeters carries high frequencies to the rear areas of the audience.

Exceptional Sound Performance

The MAUI 28 G3 delivers massive, powerful, and precise sound with a power output of 1,030 W RMS (2,060 W peak), suitable for a wide range of applications: as the main PA for concerts, a sound system for mobile DJs, or for event sound reinforcement, including weddings and corporate events.

Superior Audio Quality

LD Systems' engineers have also taken great care with the crossover filter between the midrange drivers and tweeters. The goal was to reduce harmonic distortion and interference to make the sound even more transparent, vibrant, and powerful. The results speak for themselves: highly accurate reproduction of voices and instruments across the 120° x 30° dispersion pattern. The MAUI 28 G3 columns are designed as cardioid speakers, providing controlled bass-midrange at the front and up to 18 dB of attenuation at the rear, resulting in a clean stage sound.

Potent Bass

Equipped with a single 12-inch woofer and four bass reflex ports, the MAUI 28 G3 subwoofer delivers clear, tight, and punchy bass down to 37 Hz. By using a second subwoofer, bass response can be increased by up to 6 dB, and it can also be configured in cardioid mode with a simple button press (cardioid preset). Furthermore, the ultra-durable polyurea coating of the subwoofer easily withstands the most demanding on-the-road requirements.
