Solidbody e-bass
Built in German Warwick workshop, the SADOWSKY MetroLine 21-Fret Vintage M/J Bass Swamp Ash Body 5-String (SML21MJ5 02 ASH FR) is a modern and ultra versatile version of a timeless american solid body electric bass.
Features solid Swamp Ash body, bolt on Maple neck and fretboard, Sadowski Hum-cancelling J-Style (Jazz Bass©) / MM-Style humbucker (Music Man©) pickups and custom active electronics.
VTC (Vintage Tone Control) is a passive control in which 10 is flat and as you roll it down it knocks off a broad swath of high end to give you a warmer tone.
Although the control is passive, it functions with the bass in either active or passive mode.
A little rolled off knocks off a lot of string noise. All the way rolled off, it gives you a lot of that "motown/flatwound" sound".
